Description: The Head of the Quinobequin is a juniors-only, single sculls only, time trial-format rowing "head race" that takes place on the Charles River on the second Sunday in October. Quinobequin is a Native American name for the Charles River.
The race course stretches 3200 meters from Cambridge Boat Club to Community Rowing. It starts at the Eliot Bridge in Cambridge/Boston, and runs upstream to Brighton/Watertown, finishing in a stadium-like setting in front of the Beacon Street Bridge.
Athletes should ask their coach if they are racing at this regatta.

CRI - GPS 20 Nonantum Road, Brighton, MA (depending on GPS, city may be Boston)

Rower Information:
All rowers should be at the venue 2 hours prior to their race time
Food and drinks are NOT provided for the rowers so please come prepared with your own food and water.

Parent Iformation:
Be sure to bring a chair and layer clothing - it can get very chilly early and then get very warm.
Picnic Afterwards - A picnic will be served at 1pm at CRI. Lunch is included for all scullers. Parents, family and friends are welcome to join for $5 (cash only)
Hotel Info: All athletes need to be there by 9am. Last year some drove up the morning of. If you'd like to drive up Friday night here are a couple hotels that we like to stay in.
